This page distinguishes questions a private reference site can address from requests that must go to an official office. Most Marquette County docket, hearing, and case-record needs belong with the Clerk of Circuit Court or the court that heard the matter. The routes below identify the appropriate source.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. We run a private reference site. We cannot pull dockets, change or reset court dates, remove or seal cases, issue certified copies, or give legal advice for anyone. For any of those, you need to reach the clerk of court or the trial court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Common Marquette County requests should be routed as follows:

  • A docket sheet: run a case search through the statewide portal, or request the docket from the clerk of court
  • A court date or setting: check the court calendar, or confirm the setting with the clerk of court
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: look it up with a case search by party name or case number
  • Court records and case files: see court records, or contact the clerk of the court that heard the case

For county-level dockets and records, contact the Marquette County Clerk of Circuit Court, 77 West Park Street, Room 200, Montello, WI 53949, (608) 297-3005. County facility hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.; call to confirm counter availability and request details.
